I was just thinking that sitting perfectly still, hidden up in a tree, with a bow, sounds like something an elf might do.

I hunt from the ground mostly, spot and stalk... but have occaisionally hunted from a stand...

That's right, I remember you mentioning touching deer. A doe once bedded down right at the foot of the tree I was in, causing me some aggravation. I was only up about 10 feet.

If I manage to retire to rural Virginia, as planned, I have half an idea to put gun ports in the house.
