This talk of hurricanes is freakin me out about trying to plan a winter trip to Florida a year in advance! - You guys live with it every year in the south... is Dec. a good time to go to Florida?

Hurricane season ends in November.

August and September are the heavy hurricane months. There should be nothing to worry about by December/January. The weather will be cool(70's) and relatively dry.
