Hi Corin, my wife likes surprises too. But if I spend alot of money on the wrong thing she looks at me kind of sideways. But after all these years I've kind of gotten it pretty well figured out what can please her. I don't surprise her with clothes (she calls them outfits) though, because I never know how they'll look until she trys them on.

I've gotten into the habit of telling Rose what I want for presents (Christmas, birthday). She always tries to get at least one thing not on my "list" though, to surprise me.
