Really, for anyone to think that LOTR is just a "guy" story is just rediculous. It is one of the most romantic stories I've ever read. You just aren't spoon-fed the romance. You have to have a pretty good understanding of what is truly romantic to get it.

And you don't have vulgarity stuffed down your thoat either.
