The horse actually started walking and walked back to us. By that time, he'd managed to pull himself up.

Steve loves it when I act it out for the kids...he laughs right along with them. My favorite thing to do in the world is make people laugh.

Just tonight, when I went to pop my corn (you know I bought that 50# of corn?) Anyway, I got my Crisco down and Steve was walking in the door. This thing of Crisco is gigantic. Bought the industrial sized Crisco at Sam's. Anyway, I was lugging it from the cabinet like it weighed a ton...like it was a big old barrel of something. Groaning and straining. Very melodramatic. Steve saw me and just died laughing.

We've known each other for 15 years and I think it's pretty good that we can still get a kick out of the other.

We planted rutabagas today.

[sigh] Soon I think, I will be going to bed. Little too hot still, but the temp is dropping now.
