They don't do streamlining, huh? That must be a pain if you're networking. They are networking, aren't they?
Oh, yes... they actually have some Windows 2000 servers on their network. They also have an old IBM AS400 mainframe which maintains all of their databases, including the IT dept.'s trouble report tickets. They access it through a terminal-emulation program. It's supposed to be a "paperless office", but the interface to look up a trouble ticket is so klunky the only way to deal with it effectively is to print out the ticket. Gah!
