Very cute family with your Old Navy shirts on!

Sitting here in the height of the fireworks now... some of the neighbors have some pretty big rockets going off, but the dog is out cold and the horses are quiet... Nice 4th!

We picked up my parents and drove into town with blankets and lawn chairs. They had a big fireworks display at the local amusement park. We sat down the street on the lawn of a church. The church members were giving out water and cookies and ice cream. They wouldn't take a donation even!

It was warm, but not unbearably so and there were no mosquitos, thank heaven! This girl came by selling those light up things you hang around your neck and my parents bought the boys each one. Then another family came up and offered the boys little flags to wave!

We weren't close enough to hear the music accompanying the fireworks, but we could see them pretty good. It was a delightful evening, but it got late quick! The boys got to do a couple of sparklers in the front lawn while I got their medication ready. I gave them their meds then Steve bathed them and I got them to bed, both wearing their light-up things! So cute. Such a nice day.

Pushing 1am, so I'm going to bed. Good night!
