Hi, Bear, we've hardly seen the sun in a month, flooding tends to be alot less dangerous in this area, though, as there're no hills and, consequently, no valleys to collect torrents.
It can be bad here in central Texas... not only hills and valleys, but rather thin topsoil that saturates with water very easily. And of course, we have been getting a lot of rain... San Marcos, about 60 miles south of here, has received about 15+ inches of rain since last Friday. And just heard that they're getting about 3"/hour more right now, and it's heading this way.
