Is there a way to mount a telescope to look both at stars and at objects at eye level?

I am not sure I know what you mean about eye level.

We used to live in San Jose which is right outside of San Francisco. We had a pool in our backyard and I used to float around at night on my back and noticed that you could only see a half dozen stars at best. Then we moved into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and a whole new world opened up to me. You can see zillions of stars on a dark night here!

My family is not as interested in the night sky as I am. They help me get my telescope set up and then tell me to come in and get them when I find something neat. LOL!

Perhaps by "eye level" he means, can he look at the stars and also use it to peep into the hot babe's window in the apartment across the street?

Well, Hair is sort of right on that. If I move into the foothills of the Blue Ridge, as planned, I'd like to be able to track the stars, which are clear and plentiful when the north wind blows. But I'd also like to look accross the hills to spy out deer patterns.

Of course, if I bring the telescope to Florida, it can be used for checking out topless babes on boats that may be cruising out on the bay...
