Just watching that trailer again and am just still astounded by it. They flash on Gandalf standing there with Theoden turning to look at him. What a dramatic scene, and then immediatly they show that classic picture of Frodo in Osgiliath. Wow. The music is intense.
If I'm this stunned by a trailer, the movie is gonna leave me speechless.
To: 2Jedismom
Has anyone told you that you're obsessing about that trailer? :)

Speechless? - A hobbit? - I doubt it!
I have some errands to run in town.... be back in a bit...
If the old thread gets moved while I am gone 2J - add it to our topic!
To: Overtaxed
LOL...I'm sippin' my tea!!
I don't talk about this to anyone else but you guys.
To: HairOfTheDog
What do you mean? Get's moved?
To: 2Jedismom
Oh, I see now.

I wish Aragorn's speech had made it into the movie. Someone should have put Boromir in his place!I thought Legolas handled it rather well though Boromir wasn't having any of it!

Oh great. Kyle is only 4 mph from being a hurricane.

Has anyone told you that you're obsessing about that trailer? :)Is that a bad thing? I'm proud of my obsession. I've done about 4 frame-by-frame run-throughs.

...and Lili -wind speed at 145 mph- is approaching Cat 5.

But Mom was always the one who kept up traditions and who was the center of everything, both spiritual and "external" during the holidays. We'll get through it, but not without tears and without feeling her loss.Well, Rosie girl, there's no better way to help yourself feel better than by doing for others. See if you and your brothers who are close in age to you can help the younger ones have a not so empty Christmas. Try to do some of the things your Mom did. It will keep her memory alive in them as you talk about Christmases past, and maybe some of the 'misses' as well as the hits. It will also help take the pressure off your Dad.
Since my Dad died in 1981, the family has made sure that Mama spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with one of the siblings. My just younger sister always had her over on Christmas Eve, and she usually spent the night because my nephew was young and Mama liked seeing him on Christmas morning. The last few years, as that nephew got older, she still went there for Christmas Eve, but my older sister always had her over for Christmas Day.
Remember, if you need to vent, we're always here!

Is that a bad thing? It worries your friends. Doesn't that count? :)
To: Overtaxed
Friends?
To: ecurbh
We're all friends here, aren't we? If 2JM doesn't make any posts for some time I'll have to assume she had a heart attack watching the trailer!
