I forget how much I tweak Windows until I visit a friend or family member who just USES it...then I have to resist the urge to uncheck stuff, take stuff out of startup, change settings, etc.

But my work computer is still evil, no matter what I do. I've rebuilt it several times, but it STILL does bad stuff. I have to admit it may be a Gateway thing rather than a Microsoft thing. I'm about the last person here using a Gateway...managed to convince my boss to let us have Dells, but since I got one of the last of the Gateway generation, my PC hasn't been replaced yet.

anecdotal tale: when I was working at a bank, customers would call in to have accts checked. Lots of complaints about AOL doing the 'automatic debit' from their checking accts. People said that when they'd cancelled AOL, debits continued (that was where I came in - I had to do a 'stop payment') Moral of the story: AOL doesn't like to say goodbye.

Have any of us heard about a release date for the TT soundtrack? I believe the FoTR soundtrack was released before the movie came out. Hopefully they will do the same here.
