oooh thank you thank you!

Can I contribute then to paying my way? - I'd be happy to, you know.
To: HairOfTheDog
If you insist, I guess. We'll work something out.

Well, I know it ain't free, and if I ever figure out how, I want to upload stuff without worrying about overstaying my welcome... I know it costs money for space, and I appreciate the space. Happy to pay for it! Let me know.

Quiet in here. Hobbits must be napping or taking doctor's hours this afternoon...

If you say you haven't posted, and you only have one screen name, that's good enuff for me.
I ventured into the Religious Wars long ago, and despaired at what I saw...My hat is off to you for hanging in there this long...
Your post was simple, to the point, and tasteful (IMHO)...YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF...
Don't sink to their level by hating them...Satan loves to divide the body...he's very good at it...
BTW...Ward, I'm worried about the Beaver...

I was kinda thinking some of g'nad's weaponry would be a nice touch. I was thinking:

No, just dealing with work issues today!

I went to shop for a new mattress for my mom and then we went to Aldis so I could buy some more coffee! (We ran out of regular coffee and I had to use the last of the Kona blend this morning.) I ended up getting a ton of graham crackers (I like them for breakfast) and some cereal for the boys, some milk and brownie mix.
I really love Aldis!

No, just dealing with work issues today! Same here, but the website I need to access this afternoon is crawling...probably because Friday's the deadline.
I did manage to convince my supervisor to allow me to input this information directly to the web site...as long as I do a screen print and also submit it in hard copy...sheesh....

Que es "Aldis"?

I am around... just have very little to report!
My horses have the vet coming in an hour and a half... I am about to go out and give them both a bath so they are ready for inspection. I always feel that all of my skills in good animal husbandry are being examined when they go before the vet!
This is just an annual checkup for both of them, inspired by the West Nile virus scare last week and my call to the vet about vaccinating for it... -And the pony needs her teeth floated (filed down). Bay had it done in January. She will be sedated for the process, which is worse than your dentist appointments! They have a big metal contraption that holds their mouth open, and then they file the teeth down with a tool that looks like a carpenter's file.

I am about to go out and give them both a bath so they are ready for inspection... Is that like the equestrian version of "clean underwear?"

OUCH!!!

He's not just a bit paranoid, is he? He's just old school. He's been around here for 30 plus years...back when carbon copy was "cutting edge technology." A couple of years ago he lost some WordPerfect files when we converted to Word. Of course, I have all of mine 'cause I paid attention...
To: Corin Stormhands
She gets drugs... She will be so drunk she won't hold it against me, or the vet. Bay will be awake and watching... and he will be happy that it isn't him this time.
To: Corin Stormhands
It is exactly the equestrian version of clean underwear! Better go do it so they are dry by the time he gets here!

Aldis is a discount grocer. Very basic. You pay a quarter to use a basket (but they give you the quarter back when you safely return it to it's designated spot.) Then you get food and some dry goods for really cheap, but you have to buy the bags to put it in (or bring your own, or haul it off in one of their empty boxes). They only take cash. All this comes to being able to get staple items at a good price. .49 for a dozen eggs, 1.99 for milk, .49 bread. A box of graham crackers cost me .99 and corn chips cost .68. They are not nationally known brands, but I have found that most the time they are BETTER than the nationally known brands! (Unlike Dollar General brands that taste terrible and are worthless.)
There is at most 2 people running the store at any given time and it's only open till 7pm. I love their coffee more than any other brand name.
