I've drank hard cider that was really good, OTOH, the stuff we used to make in high school wasn't so great...Do you guys have a good recipe or know how to obtain it?

That means Bear is in trouble!

You got that right! It's been one freaky day here. And if the moon isn't full, it's close enough to make little difference.

We tried to see Minority Report today, but the showing we wanted to go to was sold out. So we went to Sum of All Fears instead. As an action/suspense/thriller with little connection to reality, it was ok, IMHO.

Then we tried to do some shopping... wound up having to make more stops than usual, and not getting home until 9:30 our time (much later than we're usually out and about on a Sunday). Barely time to relax a bit before heading to bed. Oh well.

We used to have rhubarb when I was growing up! - I ate it raw...
So did we. We would chop some off, bring it inside, wash it up, and dip it in a bowl of sugar. Yum!

Here too! We had a small patch of rhubarb that grew wild in our back yard, in a patch of weeds right up against the house. Never knew how it came to be there, but it was always a summer treat to pick some and eat it raw, dipped in sugar. Then one year my Dad cleared out that patch of weeds, and no more rhubarb...

Mom used to make rhubarb pie from her rhubarbs in the garden, it was really good. This is a long time ago.

Our little wild patch never had enough rhubarb for a pie... not that my Mom could have made a pie with it anyway... (she'd be the first to tell you that she's not a very good cook.)

There's a hard cider called Woodchuck that's usually sold in the beer section.

I like to get unpasteurized cider (usually it's in the produce section on ice) and let it sit at room temperature until you can taste the alcohol (week or two?) You might want to put a water seal on it to make sure it doesn't turn into vinegar.

Morning All.

Up this morning to watch the Today Show. Corin, Jr. is there with his choir. We'll see if they get on the air.

Yes, unfortunately... operating on a little over 4 hours of good sleep. I'm doing ok at the moment, but I'll be feeling it tonight I'm sure...

Oh we are full of faults up here...

Seriously, we are... We get little quakes so far, though we had one that did some damage last year, They are still repairing the old stone building fronts downtown here in my home town, and our capitol building dome was damaged and still being repaired.

We will get a bigger one someday...
