This is an experimental feature, in that, at the moment anyone can add any thread to any topic. Will this be abused? Probably. Will management be a nightmare? I hope not. I record into a log file all such adds, so rolling back any one user's adds will not be difficult.

I don't get it.

At one time it was mentioned that we would have the ability to change our screen names, is that something that is still in the works?

As nifty as this is and all, I go away for a few hours and then come back and hit 'self-search' and I no longer see anything at top? Why can I no longer see if I have any messages when I do that?

Can we add a previously deleted thread back to FR?

I have no clue what this means so I will pass on this feature:>)

Hey John, on the 'new all forums self search' we need a way to get back to the forums.
Something on the order of the
[ Threads | Comments | Self-Search | Search | Topics | Post | Settings | Help! ] bar maybe.
Let's chit-chat about food and books on this thread.

Can I play the violin while I'm using this new feature?

I am so confused about the changes in general. Please direct me to the nearest help station. What does it mean "News/Activism" vs. "General Interest"? And what is the purpose of the changes? Am I accessing the totality of the "Recent Posts" lists, or just one topic?
How come my self-search doesn't have any choices of where to go at the top...I must escape to get back to the previous screem?
