Tonight's "Simpsons" episode

Tonight's episode--I think it's new--has Bart and Homer playing "Scrabbleship." Lisa comments on the "goofy" game and Homer says (paraphrasing here) "You just don't care about showing respect for those who just gave their lives for their country." Coming on the heels of Operation Anaconda -- and knowing how Groenig (phonetic spelling) and company get these episodes in the hopper as quickly as they do -- I thought it was in typical bad taste. But maybe it's just me.

Yep. At least. But then again, the complainer cannot even use the "o" in Godzilla, so I guess it doesn't take much to offend...

Some shows are fast others are slow. I remember South Park was spoofing the Florida voting fiasco 2 weeks after it happened and had an anti-Ossama episode in mere weeks after 9-11. The Simpsons, I believe, take several months due to the animation that goes into it.
