It depends. It's like a "vert". There are 'pre'verts, 'post' verts and 'per'verts.

Postverts are good with blue cheese dressing.
Preverts have terminal anticipation.
Perverts become politicians.

So getting back to zits, a zot is a statically charged perzit. (neither pre, nor post). Unless it's one of those rare days that end in"y", in which case it's your day off. :-)~~
