Teachable moment in radio. It's a 'favorite caller' I post from time to time. It starts at minute 19 and goes on for just 10 minutes.

Philip from Glen Cove. I remember his call. Amazing call.
Thanks for posting.
Twenty years. Rush is timeless. Seems like yesterday.
I find it amazing that there has been no one to replace Rush.
He is deeply missed.

Thanks for posting.
It’s very surprising how little has changed.
It would be difficult for someone with similar talents as Rush to rise like he did among the radio scene today.
Talk radio is bought by conglomerated political interests in order to gate keep who could emerge to fill his shoes.
Rush, Gene Burns and Jerry Williams were from a different time and generation. Each was unique. Rush was the master.
Lately I’ve been watching Adam Corolla. He is a cross between Norm Macdonald and Howie Carr. You can find him on Youtube and Spotify among others.
P
That old windbag.
This "Pro" guy uses several Rush-isms, including referring to the MSM as "the drive-by media."
He is strongly conservative, and has moved from being mainly a Disney/Hollywood commentator to being a more explicitly conservative entertainment commentator.
To me, it's clear that he pays homage to Rush, without ever mentioning him.
Here's an example, concerning a topic recently discussed here on FR:
Rush was very funny. He had America laughing at the liberals and they hated him. I do believe there is someone out there thats informed, articulate, and funny. All the qualities he had. He always quoted that firm that called him right 99% of the time.
We need more than information. We need the stuff that stings.
Thanks wisdom in action.
