ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — A 60-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing two people with scissors at an Albany personal care home.
According to the Albany Police Department, the incident happened at Friendship Personal Care Home on Oglethorpe Boulevard around 5:12 p.m. on Oct. 23.
APD says officers arrived to find 60-year-old Arlene White leaving the building with a pair of scissors in her hands, and she was detained after dropping them.
Investigators determined White had allegedly stabbed two people. One victim was found with three stab wounds in the back of the head, while the other was stabbed in the hand.
White reportedly told officers “she intended to do so,” APD said.
The 60-year-old woman was charged with aggravated assault with a cutting tool and was booked into the Dougherty County Jail.
