That hoax is what red-pilled Brandon Straka, formerly staunch liberal. Observing how the media blatantly lied about Trump mocking the disabled, he did a 180 and became and evangelist for the right, and started the WalkAway movement.
IIRC, when he was spouting off about the evils of Trump, his former babysitter told him to watch Trump’s hand gestures for his whole life, which he did. He asked himself, “What ELSE is the media lying about?” He researched and concluded that the media is lying about pretty much everything.
Guess some have not heard that uncivil conduct is rarely if ever justified.
The left loves to inflict violence on its enemies but it must find ways to justify it. For normal people, a first strike in an altercation must be justified as self-defense or it is “wrong.” Hence the long campaign waged by the left to reclassify words as violence. This has largely been accepted by the left and Mugwumps. Now they are using the mantra “silence is violence” to justify even more fighting.

There are bot farms attacking Trump on every comment section of DailyMail. One of them keeps repeating that Trump discriminated against blacks in housing. This claim was first magnified by Hillary when she ran against him, but the case was from 1973, and was was settled with no admission of guilt. NYC housing commission sued his father’s company Trump Management in 1973; the company and the building in question were owned by his father.
It’s also true that when Donald Trump purchased Mar-a-Lago in the 80s and made it into a private club, he was the first private club owner in Palm Beach to enable blacks and Jews to become members, a matter that was subsequently involved in a suit he brought against the city over zoning. He also had to sue Palm Beach to allow him to fly an “oversized” American flag on the property, and donated the money awarded to him from that suit to a veterans’ cause, if I recall correctly.
Trump doesn’t walk on water - none of us do. But that’s a hell of a lot different than democrats to wallow in lies and evil - and are proud of their lies.
