It IS my business. Not only because I have family ties with America and France… my great-grandfather was American and had a successful business there somewhere around 1880. I have spent most of my life spending travelling back and forth between America and France – for professional and family reasons.
ALSO: America’s good or bad decisions VASTLY affects the planets economy.
Thus, EVEN if I wouldn’t be American or French, it evidently IS my business.
When oil-prices double in America or France it hurts my budget, no matter if I’m in America or France or anywhere else.

France has never uttered anything about “cutting ties” with America.
On the contrary, France ruined itself to save America’s war of Independence.
It was a MASSIVE French investment!
Without France America would not exist today. It would have remained a British Colony, one among many.
That’s why American and French people have helped each other for so long, even during WWI and WWII.
Yes, we are LONGSTANDING allies. Historically speaking France has done more for America than ANY other country in the world. I hope you’ll remember that.

I 100% agree with you, Ayatollah Khomeini stayed 4 months in France, it’s a thing that I have always condemned.
It was a weak centrist French government at that time, a party which I evidently opposed. I was for the Front National back then (RN today) a conservative party.

And yes, France is heavily helping Ukraine right now. Why do you think Russia threatens France with nuclear war occasionally, hm? France is Russia’s most hated country. France just gave the licenses to Ukraine for manufacturing their own super advanced attack and anti-missiles systems. Kremlin heads exploded the other day when they got this info! And THAT’s a very good sign that France did something marvelous here!
France is right now working on a plan to extend its NUCLEAR UMBRELLA to EU nations regularly threatened by Russia: The Baltic States, Scandinavia, Poland, and more to come.

Well guess what, France has ZERO strategic interest in a border war as well! That’s why we are helping Ukraine.
RUSSIA teamed with their communist North Korean and Islamic Chechen friends and with MASSIVE subsidies from communist China to start a war against European Ukraine. Europe and France are helping. Even America is helping but not financially.
France or Europe did not ask for that war. Russia is the invader.

Europe and Ukraine aren’t America’s police force either. Yet, when America invoked NATO’s Article 5 after the 911 terrorist attacks in America, Europe responded and joined America’s invasion of Afghanistan. Even UKRAINE joined and bled for America in Afghanistan and Iraq, even though Ukraine wasn’t even part of NATO - talk about a generous gesture from Ukraine!
In all Ukraine deployed about 7000 troops in Afghanistan / Iraq and got about 50 casualties. They didn’t have to do this for America. But they did. Why? Because of their Conservative Christian values. You don’t seem to know what those values are all about.
About a 1200 EU NATO troops including French troops died helping America in Afghanistan. The US lost 2400.

France has ALWAYS defended itself and defended America so it could become an independent nation. However, France has lost wars, just like America has, Afghanistan for example
France lost 220.000 French soldiers fighting Germany during WW2. And if you count French civilians killed the total number is 600.000.
So, show some respect. France did defend itself.
