Though Ossoff is the incumbent, the race remains close in a state that Donald Trump won by two points in 2024. Keeping tight seats is a top priority for Democrats in their bid to take control of the upper chamber come November.

Ossoff was asked the 'hardball' question-will he serve out his full term and not run for president? The bigger question-does it really matter? Clinton made that promise, didn't honor it, and it didn't stop him from winning. Collins should have called the question an inappropriate waste of time in 60 minutes.
Fact is Georgia leans red with Trump winning. Ossoff has a 10-1 advantage in money so the left takes it more serious. If our voters have to carry a candidate over the finish line it should be one worth fighting for. Governor Kemp sitting out might be the smart one here. Better yet think the Turtle and his 'candidate quality' quote. We never seem to learn. Pathetic.
I’m ready to encourage MTG to run for the other seat in ‘28. At least she fights.
MTG seems to have lost her mind though
She fights for her grift.
Ossoff is a carpetbagger, just like Hillary. Most Georgians hate him, but Fulton county somehow still controls the elections.
Georgia used to be red but it is more purple now with the constant influx of people to Atlanta area from the greater NY/NJ area that tend to be far left. When I still lived there it was strong republican in North Fulton. Now they vote for Ossoff.
Ossoff is a juggernaut.
He’s the new dem star.
I watched the first debate on a video, because I’m not in GA. I thought Ossoff looked plastic and styled. Collins won that one in my mind. So I’m going to take up your challenge, today if I have time. I’ll get back to you. I agree, in the first debate, the moderator was eminently fair; the questioners were as well.
...but Fulton County somehow still controls the elections.”
We have the same thing in Minnesota. Three blue counties (Ramsey, Hennepin and St Louis) give Democrats a more than solid base to work from.
Believe it or not, most of the rest of the state votes Republican.
Sure Collins isn't a good communicator. BUT, sitting out is not smart, Kemp is a huge globalist RINO, and Ossoff is a globalist commie.

“Death to America - vote Democrat Socialist!”
We have it on good authority this is the position taken by the IRGC and the ayatollahs of Iran, and this is the very aspect that Republicans do not seem to stress with sufficient urgency.
This is existential. There will be no easy path to a second chance.
LMAO! MTG is to the left of Asshoff!
I didn’t watch it but heard Collins did well in the debate.
**I thought Ossoff looked plastic and styled.**
It is what it is and that’s all it takes. In ‘28 style point to Rubio over DeSantis and Vance.
Lets all try to remember that this is coming from the Daily Beast.
The State of Georgia has traded 2 seats in the US Senate for the Governor’s mansion. Pretending there are “elections”, there, is just whistling past the graveyard.
Ossoff has a 10-1 advantage in campaign funding money.....from foreign agents.
Trackers show hundreds of thousands of dollars to Ossoff associated with foreign governments..... including independent groups like United Democracy Project, DMFI PAC, NORPAC, and Pro-Israel America PAC).
“Track AIPAC” web Site lists cumulative foreign
govt-related honors to Ossoff at around $954,000.
NOte that Ossoff has faced direct opposition and attack advertising from AIPAC due to his legislative votes. (Ossoff supported resolutions to block some arms sales to Israel), leading to a strained AIPAC relationship rather than the thriving financial partnership AIPAC strategizes.
Jon Ossoff does not Take AIPAC Money. But he pocketed
$772K donations from Other foreign government PACs.
You didn’t watch the debate. The question about bigotry came up at 10 minutes, after Collins had hit ossoff three times about Reid Hoffman -Epstein money connection. I also watched a brief recap on a news program where the “reporterette” did report that Collins asked about Reid Hoffman but strategically omitted RH’s Epstein connection.
