The Biden administration did attempt to prosecute parents federally for the crime of disagreeing with school boards in 2020 and 2021, says a new report from the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DoJ) Weaponization Working Group.
As America begins to vote early before the November 3 midterm election, this is worth recalling -- and, indeed, getting more details on, as it shows how far some are willing to go to criminalize and thereby control free citizens.
The Weaponization Working Group came about after President Donald Trump issued Executive Order 14147 to bring accountability and to hopefully prevent this from happening again.
The working group found records showing that the “Biden White House and Justice Department leadership pushed for a memo that sought to find a federal ‘hook’ to prosecute parents…” for vociferously disagreeing with school closures and other policies during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the center of this move to use federal prosecutors around the nation to go after parents who would not stay quiet was an October 4, 2021 memorandum from then Attorney General Merrick Garland to the director of the FBI:
“Coordination and partnership with local law enforcement is critical to implementing these measures for the benefit of our nation’s nearly 14,000 public school districts. To this end, I am directing the Federal Bureau of Investigation, working with each United States Attorney, to convene meetings with federal, state, local, Tribal, and territorial leaders in each federal judicial district within 30 days of the issuance of this memorandum. These meetings will facilitate the discussion of strategies for addressing threats against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff, and will open dedicated lines of communication for threat reporting, assessment, and response.”
Parents, of course, were showing up, waiting for time at podiums, and then speaking passionately about reopening the schools.

Why did the FBI and Biden administration think this was any of their business?
One could not choose individuals with a higher probability of being inept, corrupt, and incapable of being trusted than the majority of ‘people’ currently serving on ‘skool boards’. Eff them and the leftist sewer in which they swim.
We’re becoming an East Germany like police state. Absolutely no will be held accountable. No one is going to jail. And when these thugs are back in power, it’ll be even worse.
It wasn't their business. It was telling the others, this could happen to you.
Sit on your hands in November - or better yet, vote Democrat - ‘cause we needs us some more of this!!!
That’s why they had to steal. That way, they can block opposition speech.
Letting the Democrats re-take power so that they can, again, silence and JAIL parents, is just fine, as long as RINOs are no longer around to get us mad.
