If only a single one of the 42 of the attempts on Hitler‘s life had succeeded (we can always dream, can’t we?) the loss of Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe to communism might well not have happened.


There was a plot in place in 1938 by the Generals to take out Hitler, that very well could have succeeded.

Then came Munich, and the Generals fell in line, thinking Hitler was a “genius”.

Not really, but they knew that a plot would have had no more chance to break the tyranny, as Hitler had become so much more popular at the moment.

Furthermore, the most dreadful misdeeds of the regime were still to come. Sadly, no-one did foresee was Hitler was going to do. Mein Kampf was sold much, bud too little actually read it…

That was one of forty-two acts on his evil life, the first had bewn as early as 1931…
