Don't tell EU Prez, Ursula van der Looney. She is convinced that she is building the United States of Europe to go toe to toe with the U.S. and China. In her mind she is achieving that through her purist ideologies, viz socialism, climate politics, non-representative government, unlimited immigration and roping the United States into providing their defense.
During the U.S. Bitem Autopen Administration she looked pretty good. Then, predictably, the roof caved in. Now the EU pays painters and wall paperers to create lovely pictures that she hopes will fool the folks. Her one trophy is Canada, which is ruled by a non-Canadian globalist who is guiding the Canucks into self annihilation for purity's sake.
Now THAT'S funny. Her family name was Albrecht, and she took the "minor aristocrat" name of her husband.
My bride and I were legal residents of Germany for years, before retiring back to these wonderful United States. When there, I saw how many times she failed in terms of actual governance in minor roles and still succeeded politically to climb to the democratically-unelected pinnacle of the European Commission.
She thinks she is "building" Europe, while actually making it weaker and weaker. Green, multicultural meaning awash with Islam, and corrupt, but these are now among those "European values" of which she speaks so often while never detailing what they are.
A small detail: On one of the EU buildings is a quote from an Italian Communist, Altiero Spinelli. That it where the EU is heading.
"EU Prez, Ursula van der Looney" wants us to think Altiero Spinelli was an "EU pioneer | European Union" from an EU web page, but he was an unabashed Communist. Not mentioned so often in the media these days, eh?
