The Scythians were allies of the last 'real' Assyrian kings, were persuaded to switch sides (probably after some other setback), and the three groups (Medes, Babylonians, and Scythians) stormed Nineveh. That would make a pretty good swords-and-sandals blockbuster, and I don't think anyone has done one about it in the past.
