Think about this, Canada has lived under our defense umbrella for 75+ years. Freeing their money to use on social programs, good or bad, but they have the money. They are now going to join economically with a country that makes no secret it is our enemy. We’re going to have to cut any defense cooperation we have because of the security leaks, much less the industrial espionage. If it goes very far, and it sounds like that’s where Carney wants to be, we will have to secure Canada. Make it make sense. The grizzly bear let’s you live in its den. Even shares its food and keeps other predators away and then you start poking it. How does that end well?
This seems like moving China to our north & repositioning Canada somewhere else in....wherever??? An idiotic plan to say the least, but apparently that is what Canada is thinking of doing. Hope there is MUCH thought about doing such a thing well before ACTUALLY DOING IT! Even if Canada immediately after doing it saw that it wasn’t going to work out..the change back would amount to some horrific problems. This is just about the craziest idea I ever heard of & I think that almost all real Canadians would be terribly opposed to it. Or would they even have any say about it?
