Officials are currently working with public relations firms Weber Shandwick and Porter Novelli under contracts worth more than $50 million in all in order to prepare for the open enrollment period.

Republicans have criticized the administration’s promotional spending for ObamaCare, arguing that it misuses taxpayer money.

My guess is that some of the expense will be offset if the ads actually help eligible people file without issue and not cost money with phone calls and complaint lines.

SUPPOSED TO RUN FROM OCT TO DEC 7 & IT NEVER STOPPED.

I just finished an IRS Form 8962, Premium Tax Credit, for 2025. The person was on Obama care for 10 months, got married, and went on her new husbands work plan.

It’s the worst IRS form I ever completed in 50 years of doing tax work. Called the IRS “Priority Practitioner’s Hotline” and got an ACA specialist. She apologized and explained that it was too complex and the IRS did not train them on Part V of the 8962 form. Called back again and got another ACA specialist, same answer.

The taxpayer qualified for the credit for 10 months, got married, and had to pay back over $10,000 in insurance premiums.

ACA sucks.
