Not just residents, businesses too - and plenty of them, taking jobs and their taxes with them, costing billions.
Billionaires as well, fleeing a proposed (it will pass) “billionaires’ tax” that is on the Nov. ballot:
“Six billionaires publicly left California before the January 1, 2026 deadline to avoid a proposed one-time 5% wealth tax, removing approximately $27 billion in potential tax revenue from the state.”
