I am in favor of affordability in college tuitions. Maybe we should cap faculty salaries at $35,000 per year and administrator salaries at $30,000.
Since our universities have become the great reservoir of leftism in the U.S., faculty and administrators — good socialists and progressives that they are — should be all for this.
Perfect! Your plan would see universities evaporate in real time. At best, universities would stay open with degrees in Gender Handholding as Ph.D.’s in marketable degrees (business, finanace, computer science, etc) would all find job in other industries.

So for those of us faculty members (retired now) who are not socialists nor progressives are exempt from the salary cap right?
