There are many teams in MLB that I call quadruple-A teams. They are better than the AAA minor league teams, but they aren't really contending with the top major league teams. And like the minor league teams, they bring up new players for a few years until they go free agent or are traded to a team who can afford them.

The Reds are one of those teams now. In the last 30 years they've been in the post season five times and lost soundly in the first round in all but one season, which the squeaked in a loss. It's a rebuilding century.

And MLB wants to expand, you’ll have AAA MLB teams then for sure.
