This sounds like more crap to me. First, many LED bulbs have all kinds of different color temps. Sounds like he’s pickign the worst one to do a study with. >>. Yes you caught that and then there is sunlight . One of the nice features of these LED’s is that you can change the colors. And then there is the big bad LED TV and computer monitors. Heaven forbid we are all gonna die.
In my post above I forgot to mention that I have had MANY failures, after a year or two use, of Wally World (actually "Intertek") LED "desk lights". We use these in many spots. In fact, I just replaced another one yesterday. They are, in short, POS when it comes to product (LED) life. The internal heat sinking is a really bad joke. The $3 on clearance "no name" "flex-neck" LED desk lamps I picked up at Menards have been, otoh, so far 100% reliable, even one I've used outside a lot, in sort of rough use. They just don't have a long / tall enough "flex-neck" for some desk (indoor) uses. :-(
OK, many LED bulbs are single color temp. If you specifically purchase multi-color temp bulbs you are likely paying more for them than if you just pick the color temp you want in a single color temp bulb. I have yet to purchase a multi-color temp bulb because of the significantly higher price point and the extra electronics required to make them, which also have a higher likelihood of a failure (especially if foreign made with junk/recycled/knock-off electronics).
