A Montgomery County, Maryland, proposal to impose new requirements on publicly funded community media has sparked resistance from within the left.
Brutus was a member of the Roman Senate’s “deep state.”
Every faction spawns fanatics who, to their peril, see only the facts that justify their zealotry. For today, here and now, we are being reminded again that the Dem’s deep state is real, embraced by real people concentrated in real places. One of those places is Montgomery County, Maryland, MoCo, a suburb of Washington, DC.
This post will connect the actions of little MoCo to the large deep state that Senator Chuck Grassley is trying to rescue us from; this past week Senator Grassley warned us, again:
“For almost a decade now, I've made records public showing how a number of now discredited law enforcement and intelligence officials schemed to take out Trump and other Republicans. And here we are in 2026 still finding records from years ago showing even more evidence of that targeting. The overall sustained efforts by the deep state in the dark corners of the bureaucracy is worse than anything Trump has been accused of.”
The Senator gave this warning of what has become of the US of A in last week’s Senate oversight questioning of Kash Patel during which, when it was Senator Corey Booker’s turn he launched a blitz of soundbites to give his media enablers plenty of headline material to let them continue to ignore Senator Grassley’s clear warning statement that summarized the Democrat Party’s willingness to do whatever it takes to conquer and re-write our government of the people, by the people and for the people into a government that controls from womb to tomb all the people all the time and whose tax power will become this: all you make
