A lot of Christians seem to have left FR and we don’t get the discussions that we used to, but the Russian oppression of Christians used to be a common topic.
Protestants and Catholics are oppressed in an effort to suppress actual practicing of Christianity and church going.
Lived there, been there, done that. First hand, Christianity is NOT “ outlawed” in Russia. They practice Orthodox Christianity, and the government has rebuilt the many, most beautiful worship churches I have ever seen.
That said, Ukraine has outlawed the Russian Orthodox Church, burnt down a few Russian Orthodox churches- genuine persecution, and put in place it’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Saying anything else is a lie.
