I have two ancestors who fought in the revolutionary war: their stone houses that they built after the war are still lived in in Central Pennsylvani. I have one ancestor in the civil war and my dad fought in WWII pacific & Korea. His last post was in the Pentagon during the Viet Nam War. He retired and spent his last years maintaining his parents farm.
Nice to hear there are folks who value such things. Most don’t.
