All joking aside, i’m usually very sceptical when it comes to casting decisions, but i see no problem with this one.

So you have no problems throwing the whole allegory aspect of the tale away, in favor of woke casting? Have you ever read (or seen) the story in question?

None whatsoever. Arslan is an animated lion whom Streep is going to lend her voice. That doesn’t make Arslan female or the casting woke.And no, i never finished Narnia.I tried but i’m not much of a fiction reader anyway and fantasy is not for me.
