It’s unfortunate that Kash is in a position where he thinks he has to ‘prove’ that he’s doing his job.
The Director himself shouldn’t need to do that.
All this information should be readily available online to the public at some government operated website.

Maybe this info already is there, in which case, the White House Press Sec. should refers all enquiries to that website. It is beneath the office to expect the FBI Director to frantically scramble around, gathering bragging rights and talking points, in order to stop negative gossip.
