We Can Kill Our Enemies Abroad And Fail To Save Ourselves

The failures that led to 9/11 remain unaddressed to this day.

uch has been written about 9/11 on the 25th anniversary of this attack on our soil. To my mind, the most prescient was by Ayaan Hirsi Ali in Tablet Magazine.

Before I get to it (and I hope you will take time to read more than I can summarize here), we need to review failures that led to the attack and failures that followed.

In this regard, we are aided by this week’s CIA declassification of 71 Presidential Daily Briefs from 1998 through December 2001.

SHOCKING DECLASSIFIED CIA FILES PROVE U.S. GOVERNMENT HAD MANY CHANCES TO STOP 9/11. Newly declassified CIA files reveal something absolutely chilling. 1998: Intelligence warns Bin Laden may fly an explosives-packed airplane into an American city. 1998: CIA warns: “BIN LADEN PREPARING TO HIJACK US AIRCRAFT.” 1998: Intelligence reports members of his network had received hijacking training, and operatives reportedly conducted a TRIAL RUN at a NEW YORK AIRPORT. 2001: Bin Laden appeared in at least 18 Presidential Daily Briefs. August 6: “BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO STRIKE IN US.” September 11: America was attacked. These documents do not show the government knew the exact 9/11 plan in advance. But 25 years later, Americans can finally see just how many warning lights were flashing before nearly 3,000 people died.

To G.W. Bush’s discredit, he acceded to the Muslim Brotherhood and others, including Palestinian Islamic Jihad (run by Sami-Al-Arian, who was later tried and convicted of terrorism-related charges, imprisoned, and deported), and claimed against all evidence that Islam was a religion of peace and otherwise muddied the waters about the threats we face.

Apparently, Moslem election assistance in Tampa and Michigan blinded him to the obvious dangers. Also hamstringing our defense was the wall Clinton’s appointee Jamie

How many Nawaf al-Hazmis and Khalid al-Mihdhars did Joe Biden fly into the country? We have not learned our lesson and now there are mosques (or armories?) popping up everywhere in the USA.

Why do we continue to support the Saudis?

Her conclusion is, I think, hard to argue against: If we can’t redesign our protections to shelter citizens “rather than adversaries,” “resist civilization subversion without abandoning liberty itself,” and wall out these people, it doesn’t matter how effective we are on the battlefields.

Idk, I think they like using Islam to gain power, mistakenly believing they can control it later.

The enemy like Iran doesn’t need to nuke us. The nuke they do have is that we have allowed them and their ilk to come in and infiltrate our land and government.

While we waste our resources and time fighting them over there, they are multiplying within our borders.

We are the architects of our own future demise.

From Gotham to New Gaza? Hmmmm, with the foothold established, how do we remove them without the media propagandizing ‘phobia’?

Exactly. Using an atomic bomb on us would be a huge mistake for the Muslims. That would force us to actually fight them. Why do that when they are winning by slow invasion?

The muslims are an external threat, no matter how many Joe Biden imported into our country. The internal threat, and the more dangerous, is crazy white women. The poster group for that threat is the Lindsay Clancy jury. They routinely vote for abnormal outcomes, and that is the thing that needs to change if this country is to survive.

If we play follow the government we will lose. Which is probably what will happen because we are sheep and look to someone else to fix everything.

And we worry what the corrupt media thinks. I don’t think the American Revolution was popular until it was.

Normalcy bias seems to always get us.

“The failures that led to 9/11 remain unaddressed to this day.”:

https://discernreport.com/us-muslims-gaining-political-power/

From artical at link:
(Daily Signal)—The 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks bears witness to a strange phenomenon in American politics: after a quarter century of battling Islamist terror around the globe, America finds Muslim political power growing rapidly here at home. “The problem is that Americans have been lied to,” argued Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch on “Washington Watch.”

“They have been told that Islam is perfectly benign, [that] it’s a religion like any other, and only racist, bigoted Islamophobes think otherwise. And so, Americans’ guard is down.”

There are still too many ‘thought leaders’ who think there is a moderate strain of Islam that can be tolerated. No, there isn’t. It must be outlawed. And practitioners should be given the option they give to others: Convert or Die. I’d accept Convert or LEAVE.

I suppose the increasingly disasterous situations England and the rest of Europe are undergoing can serve as a cautionary wake up call. If it is not censored to the point of ‘out of sight, out of mind’.

Convert or LEAVE.

I do not think that has ever been an option in their fanatical cult. There will be no easy way out, they love death even more than Democrats.

Exactly right. Their government is totally turned on their own native citizens.

If the democrats and their muzzards and commies win in 2028, we will see the 2nd amendment and the first amendment go away. They will pack SCOTUS.

They will start outlawing a few things and slowly turn the screws. Might even manufacture some false flags to gain public support.

It sure would have been nice to have republicans that were truly serious at putting the citizens of this country before their own interests or interests that profit them. If they had done that, midterms would be in the bag.
