12 DAYS OF BENGHAZI:
DAY 10Ambassador Chris Stevens was back in Benghazi.
But understand something before I go any further:
The security problems in Benghazi was already known. This wasn’t discovered after four Americans were dead.
The people on the ground had been warning Washington for months. They asked for more Security. They asked to keep additional military security in Libya. Ambassador Stevens himself backed requests for more security.
And Washington’s response?
Requests were reduced.
Requests were denied! Other requests went unanswered…WTF!
The military Site Security Team was allowed to leave!
Charlene Lamb, THE Deputy Assistant Secretary in the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
When Regional Security Officer Eric Nordstrom wanted to keep additional Mobile Security Deployment personnel in Libya, Lamb wrote:
“NO, I do not [I repeat] not want them to ask for the MSD team to stay!”
Read that again.
Had nothing to do with funding!
This was happening while the threat was getting worse and after attacks happened not before.
The U.S. compound in Benghazi had already been bombed.
A hole had already been blown through its perimeter wall.
The British Ambassador’s convoy had already been attacked with an RPG.
So, Western targets were being hit.
Extremist groups were operating in eastern Libya.
And the people on the ground were saying: We need more security.
Washington still did not give them the security posture they were asking for and needed!
And after Benghazi?
Charlene Lamb wasn’t fired from the State Department.
She was placed on administrative leave, later reinstated, and given another assignment.
That tells you a hell of a lot about accountability in Washington.
Get Americans killed and move up!
But responsibility did not stop at Charlene Lamb’s desk.
Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State.
Chris Stevens was not some stranger buried deep inside her department. Hillary had selected him to represent the United States during the Libyan revolution and later nominated him to become Ambassador.
Hillary knew Libya was unstable. Her department knew Benghazi was dangerous, all verified from her secret server emails.
Her security people on the ground were asking for more help, attacks had already happened, warnings had already been written.
The requests had already been sent and denied.
Maybe Hillary personally didn’t deny every or any security request because the record does not show that.
But this was her State Department. So despite everything her department knew, the security on the ground did not match the threat in Benghazi that was growing.
Then came September 10.
Chris came to the CIA Annex, where he received a briefing on what we were seeing in eastern Libya.
Later he went to meet with the Benghazi Local Council and something happened that matters. The media showed up, now his presence in Benghazi was public.
Think about the position they had put him and his team in!
The threat was known, previous attacks were known, requests for more security were known.
The Ambassador was now physically in Benghazi, now people outside the U.S. government knew he was there too.
And the clock was almost out for one desperate U.S Consulate begging for help!
They were being treated as the redheaded stepchild!
One day left.
Hillary had already been given multiple opportunities to act.

This is something I will never understand about the State Department: Hillary Clinton left her office at 5pm local time on Sept 11 2001 while the compound in Libya was under attack ... she couldn’t even bother to stay at work to monitor the situation - and no one asked her about it!
Hillary Clinton started the 'Youtube video' lie. She used it as blame for the attack in Benghazi and for the riots at the Cairo embassy and all the rest of the embassy riots around the world that happened that day.
Tweeting apologies for the 'anti-Muhammed video' began early that morning, many hours before the attack in Benghazi, repeatedly blaming all the violence at all of our embassies on the 'video.'
US Embassy in Cairo quietly deletes its ‘we stand by our condemnation’ tweet; Update: More deleted tweets!
Look at the time stamp on the Cairo Embassy's first Tweet!
That's Cairo time.

------------------------------------------------------
Hillary was the first to use the "Youtube video" excuse.
10:38-39 p.m., 9/11/12. @StateDept tweets: " #SecClinton: I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. http://state.gov #Libya" and "#SecClinton: We have confirmed one @StateDept officer was killed in #Libya. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss." Hillary Clinton issues a statement, saying, "I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. As we work to secure our personnel and facilities, we have confirmed that one of our State Department officers was killed. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack." She adds: "Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind."
That was when Hillary herself took over the Cairo embassy Twitter account and personally posted. (anyone who thinks she wasn't directing the earlier Tweets is smoking something) That was at 10:38 PM Eastern Time. That would have been 4:38 AM Sept. 12th in Benghazi. About the time Woods and Doherty were making their last stand.
