Two good comments from the link:
Stab wounds and gunshot wounds are expensive. 99% of the suspects and victims don’t have private health insurance. This means the good taxpayers of NY get to foot the bill. My guess: this parade costs taxpayers $1,800,000 in medical bills.
Now we know why health insurance for actual citizens who have actual jobs is over a $1,000 per month and doesn’t cover anything at all.

Sigh. What can be done to fix this mess? Lots of things, in theory. But practically, nothing at all. So I guess all we can do is watch the system collapse.
That watching is best done from a rural area.

In this week’s email my GOP Congresscritter included a poll for constituents to tell him the most critical issues Congress should be working on. Of course the list did not include bringing down inflation, ending the Iran war, ending deficit spending, getting the government out of medical care, getting the federal government out of education, stop funding far left NGO’s with taxpayer funds.
My response to him was: Congress doing its job as described in the Constitution.
