In this world, Glorien Steinem was a hideous and corrosive personage.
I did pray for her. I prayed she found Christ. I don’t know if she did, but who can say. I hope she did.
I have had to take this approach of praying for people I abhor, people like Barney Frank and Gloria Steinem. I have found it helps me to dissipate my anger at them...it is a new thing for me. And it is worth it, because it helps offload that anger, and makes me feel closer to Christ.
As for the infanticide, there is no country on Earth I know of that practiced and practices infanticide on the basis of gender more than Communist China. This was exposed by Lou Xiaoying, a Chinese woman who found an abandoned infant girl lying among junk on the street in 1972, and made it her mission to rescue her.
It brings tears to my eyes to even consider this, a little newborn girl, just tossed on a heap of junk, to die, because their culture wanted baby boys.
If there were anything on this Earth that displayed fully the evil and barbarity of Communist China, it is that. There were no laws against this, and even if there were, they authorities would have looked the other way, as many of them would have engaged in the same practice.
“As for the infanticide, there is no country on Earth I know of that practiced and practices infanticide on the basis of gender more than Communist China”
India comes in a close second 🥈.
In India they have been known to kill infant girls after birth. I give them about ten years and they will be where China is now, men who can’t find brides.
I am now the proud Grandmother-in-law to an adopted Chinese woman. She and another baby girl were adopted by their American parents in the early 1990s. You should hear her (Chinese) mother talk about China.
I think I mentioned this on another post, but Steinem is by far the most malignant public face of feminism. Most other radical feminist harpies couldn't really build a following: they were typically hideously ugly, man-hating bull dyke types such as Andrea Dworkin that most women, even liberal ones, found repulsive and didn't want to be identified with.
Steinem preached much the same feminist gospel as the Dworkins of the world, while managing to look and (superficially) act reasonably feminine and attractive (as well as not taking the man-hatred as far as mandatory lesbianism), which made her a role model for young liberal women who went on to hang on her every word.
