Wokism is what comes from taking the equality thesis seriously, given a background of Christian morality. If you assume that all human populations have literally the same distribution of innate ability, it follows that all group differences in outcome must be the result of environmental factors. Suppose you truly believe that African Americans and Chinese Americans would on average be equally good at math and equally likely to run afoul of the law if only they were treated the same. With the right intervention, Nigeria could become like Korea, and our inner cities could be transformed into Silicon Valleys—or at least Koreatowns. The persistence of race differences in income, IQ, education, health, crime rates, etc., almost all disfavoring blacks, triggers an increasingly hysterical effort to find and correct the environmental cause...

Both the mainstream left and right accept the empirical premise upon which wokism is based, namely, the equality thesis. Smart people are more likely to correctly determine that, given equality, wokism follows. Mainstream rightists, in contrast, supposedly believe in equality, but they fail to recognize its implications...

Mainstream conservatives are unable to effectively push back against wokism because they accept the premises—both empirical and moral—that entail it. If it were true that the races were on average psychologically equal, the best explanation for disparities would be the continued existence, or the legacy, of white racism. For this reason, intelligent people tend to choose wokism over mainstream conservatism...

There is no way to argue effectively against those who call for drastic measures to equalize group outcomes unless you can say that those outcomes reflect natural differences. Within every institution, the ratchet goes one way: toward more wokism.

Explain liberal belief systems

1) Learning is work; one will not learn if one does not wish to learn, or has "learned" that learning is bad. This explains, among other things, the ghetto allergy to learning because it's "acting white".

2) It's possible to learn things which are simply false. This explains, among other things, belief in flat-earth, marxist economics, and transgenderism.

The absolute truth!

It’s called race realism. It’s the acceptance of the obvious fact that that there are significant differences in group AVERAGE of certain abilities.

Probably the most inportant difference when it comes to success in life is the difference in average IQ among the races, with the most striking difference being that between blacks and other races. And most of the difference is due to genetics.

It’s an unfortunate reality, but a reality nonetheless, and sweeping it under the rug as we’ve been doing for decades has only made the problem worse.

And it will continue to get worse until that reality is acknowledged.

But accepting that reality, brings a whole set of new problems. Overt discrimination will then be acceptable like it was 100 years ago. Which means you end up with a very visible group of second class citizens having the most menial jobs. Which is how we got here.

Lincoln had the solution to this when he freed the slave. He wanted to relocate them all to a sparsely populate Central American country. He very clearly understood that because of the significant difference in average mental abilities, the two races would never be able to peacefully coexist. And he’s been proven right. Regrettably he chickened out at the last moment... and that’s why we find ourselves where we are.

He would have been a truly great president had he followed through with his plan. And it would have benefitted both races. Each would have been able to determine their own destinies without interference from the other.

Racial separation is still the right answer to our race problem. But how to do it is the 64k question.

B.S. Nobody denies that there are smart blacks. The IQ curve is a distribution that goes from very low to very high, with most people falling in the middle. So even the black IQ distribution, with a significantly lower AVERAGE, has a tail on the right representing smart people like those you mention . But there are many more whites and Asians than blacks with an IQ above 130.

Except such a plan was tried - at Île à Vache - and that pilot project failed.

Lincoln would have no legal right to force freed slaves to leave the US, and as Frederick Douglass and others communicated to Lincoln such a plan to voluntarily leave was not well received by black slaves. The majority had been born in the US and several generations had passed since their forebears had been forcibly brought to the US.

Most people have a hard time understanding what just a few IQ points in a race mean in the real world—since on an individual basis a few IQ points don’t mean much of anything.

The difference between having a handful of geniuses in a race and hundreds of thousands of them is the difference between living in caves and having a world of modern conveniences.

Laws can be changed. In fact that period saw some of the most consequential new laws passed including constitutional amendments, which is a very difficult thing to do.

Correct. I doubt that would happen, given that over 150,000 blacks served in the Union Army during the Civil War.

And the current makeup of the House and Senate would have never passed such legislation.

Though today there are separatist movements in both the white and black “communities”.

The ideal solution would be three “nations” a white one, a black one, and a mixed one for those who prefer being “culturally enriched”. That way everyone would be happy.

When it comes to IQ testing someone is going to have work really hard to prove to me you can give a text a 10 year old in Redmond OR and to a 10 year old in a Zimbabwe and achieve comparable results. It’s a long article that covers everything, but it’s hard to find a coherent argument. I’ll try.

Liberals and conservatives agree that all races have equal innate intellectual ability.
A) Liberals explain that observed differences are due to discrimination.
B) Conservatives have no explanation for observed differences.

Higher IQ people choose A (explanation) over B (confused silence). This explains why Liberals have higher IQs than conservatives.

If conservatives are to have intellectual appeal, they should accept that there are innate differences in intelligence between the races.
