It would be interesting to know just what “confronted” means here. Was the golfer just trying to have a polite conversation with the man? Or was the golfer screaming and yelling?

Anyway, the golfer would have been wise to carry police-grade pepper spray (everyone should). Fox and Sabre are good brands.

Oh, thanks. I forgot about the law that permits you to chase someone down and whack them in the head with a club if they yell at you.

Information is sketchy but the “confronting” appears to have been done by the guy who ran and attacked the golfer.
