Although it is a day most Americans fail to remember to celebrate for its historical importance, this September 17th will mark the 239th anniversary of the signing of our Constitution. Unappreciated, particularly at a time liberals consistently trumpet an anti-American tune, is the fact ours is “the oldest single, codified framework for a national government still in operation.”
Meanwhile, California—the Democrats of which are probably the least appreciative of the freedoms the Constitution guarantees us—has passed a bill that will add two more holidays to be recognized there. The bill passed the state house and awaits passage by the state senate to become law. Ironically, if the bill is passed, those two holidays will represent an ideology completely contrary to the U.S. Constitution.
Claiming he seeks to promote inclusion and diversity, Assemblymember Matt Haney of San Francisco authored the bill seeking to make Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha state holidays. The former marks the end of Ramadan (the ninth month of the Muslim year in which strict fasting is observed from sunrise to sunset); the latter commemorates the culmination of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. Lest one believe Haney’s initiative represents a limited majority in the California House, it passed by a vote of 64-1.
Such holiday recognition ignores what any reading of Islam’s holy book—the Quran—reveals: the religion will never align with the U.S. Constitution. Islamic law—Sharia—stands in sharp contrast to the freedoms our Founding Fathers memorialized in our Constitution. Why then seek to honor a religion that not only is contrary to our Constitution, but to the Judeo-Christian principles embraced by the 39 signers of the document? Such a preposterous initiative is similar to recognizing May 5th to honor the birthday of Karl Marx.

Wonder which traditional holidays will be eliminated this time? - Christmas and Easter are already not mentioned - Lincoln and Washington’s birthdays have been rolled into a generic, meaningless “President’s Day,” Columbus Day has been almost entirely eliminated (certainly in California - where it is “Indigenous People’s Day”).
Thanksgiving will be next, labeled as a White Supremacist, colonial/oppressor holiday that needs to be erased.
More effort to erase Western Civilization and anything to do with the White Race.
And engage in contests of drawing offensive cartoons of the pedophile warlord Mad Mo.
RIGHT NOW.
