I worked for a company back in the 1980s who’s CEO got arrested at an airport for making a similar joke.

Needless to say, that company isn’t around anymore.

They should have kept his company going but dumped him.

Like “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.”

From SlashFilm.com article:
“According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story goes that Castellano added the extra detail about the cannoli after words of advice from his on-screen (and real-life) wife, Ardell Sheridan, reminding him to pick some up on the way home. As a result, the man who so brilliantly brought Clemenza to life expanded on what was simply “leave the gun,” which made it into the final version of the film. With a moment as incredible as that, it’s understandable why Coppola kept it in the edit, making room for what would become a line that would reappear in popular culture time and again for years afterward.”

After 9/11 we were flying home from Portland where they had National Guard fully armed, standing on mats. My then 2 year old daughter and I got pulled for a screening and my wife got upset. While we were walking away, she said did they think a two year old had a bomb and I told her it was two minutes & it was over. She said it again and I looked at her and told her to STFU, which she did. Said if you think 2 minutes was an inconvenience, what would 4 hours in a room being interviewed with 3 kids would do for her.
