The article makes it sound like these private schools issue the licenses. Doesn’t each state’s DMV issue them?

I would venture to guess that in many states, if you graduate from a certified school, you can get a state issued license.

I was listening to the Vince podcast where he discussed this, and it sounds incredibly corrupt.

Yes. You have to pass the school test then the State test. The states obviously waived the test for new Democrat voters.

that was my future comment... Each license was issued at the DMV with a signature of the working clerk. that clerk should be hauled to jail! every one of them!!

The private schools are like driver ed for a car. Some states allow the driver ed school to administer the tests.

Since most DMV employees aren’t smart enough to operate a semi, I assume most schools administer the test.

My son is a professional semi operator. I’ll ask him who gave the driver test. (He took his CDL training at the local community college)

No, that was part of the problem.

The schools could test their own students.
