They would never program any robot for that without a being an outcry from minority groups and libs. They would only be used against law-abiding citizenry. Besides even if they did use them against thugs and criminals first, once that camel’s nose is under the tent using against us is next. You learn nothing from the China flu scam and the lockdown and Draconian rules?
Musk is not omniscient, far from it (plus he doesn’t code). His goal is to make money. Admire for what he is but do not give him the key to the kingdom.

One of the biggest areas of FRAUD WASTE ABUSE is in ADDRESS.
A large percentage of those on welfare...we do not know where they live...in some cases with enormous effort we can figure out where they live... in other cases it is impossible.
A good non-AI system could solve 99% of the problem. Solving 80% would be cost effective. The more accurate approaching 100% the more costly.
I assume AI can do this in the future. But currently in dozens (but not millions) of test cases Gemini and ChatGPT are worse than input by human caseworkers.
Once AI reaches 99% it could be used for unemployment comp, and many applications beyond welfare and ...maybe... become cost effective.
I suspect that management will decide to use it
1) before it is ready for prime time
2) before it is cost effective and we will be paying for it.
My point is:
As of 2026, Musk rarely codes himself. His schedule is dominated by engineering oversight, rocket launches, and company operations. Yet, he often claims to still ‘dabble’ in Python and C++ for small prototypes. In a 2023 interview, he mentioned coding a small game over a weekend.
So, he does not deal with AI on a daily basis and wade through its crap.
Tesla customers are not typical. They are a narrow, sophisticated market.
Ford, Chevy and Yugo customers may not be as easy to service. The fear of many is that AI will serve the top 10% and not the masses.
Currently capitalism serves the middle 80% much better than the extremes. The extremes convince the government (and the 809%) that they are somehow different.
Tesla Model Y is the best selling car in the world this year.
And last year.
And the year before, beating even any Toyota model.
That's hardly “narrow and sophisticated” is it?
