BTW Reddit website has many postings of articles and answering posts done by bots to gin up usage so their stock goes up.

No, it’s not easy to block foreign IP addresses in China.
Just like those internet spam callers mask their true phone numbers.
Foreign IP address can be masked or changed using tools like a Virtual Private Network (VPN), proxy server, or the Tor browser.
