You have to watch the previous video to get the full explanation. In short, it’s a silent protest where he’s saying “I’d rather watch and hear nothing than see or hear AI”.

I don’t have quite the problem with AI per se, AS LONG AS ITS USE IS DISCLOSED. I think the real problem is that there’s so much AI use and no one admits to using it.

YouTube "pushes" vids by (among other things) how many views they get, particularly in the 1st hour the vids are up. This incentivizes "click bait" titles that sometimes have little or nothing to do with the content. It also gives undue weight to troll and tool armies such as are utilized by China / Russia / Iran / North Korea /India / the DNC, and so on, often AI empowered.

We now see on Fox News You Tube vids, for example, comment threads overwhelmed by our enemies.

"Pegasus" has created an extreme example to demonstrate part of what's going on. His beef is more that genuine creators of good content (and his really is, for those deeply interested in music) are getting pushed aside and / or washed away like those victims of the horrific flood in Nepal / Tibet.

My interest is in the music too, but extends far beyond. This crap is affecting everything in social media, traditional news, etc. I just found out that quite a few of the later vids purporting to show the flood I mentioned are AI. I guess I'm not all that surprised...

What kind of a society will we have if nothing on video or transmitted electronically can be believed?

Ironically, AI, BIG AI, is probably the only thing that can fight this.
