With its PC crap, the NFL is trying to mask the fact that it is one of the greediest operations in America. Latest example: in order to increase their global profile (and profits) they have moved a key game between conference rivals (LA Rams vs SF 49ers) to Australia, depriving the home fans the chance to attend one of the biggest games of the year. The players and coaches also hate it.
Long past the time for the NFL to lose in antitrust exemption!
I think millions of Americans would not mind if the NFL moved all their games overseas or even to another planet!
Plus, all the fans that LOVE the NFL can go with them!
After a few years for the dust (lawsuits) to settle, a new league could start up with a few basic rules. These NEW RULES to be as follows:
1. Repeal of the 1961 NFL limited anti trust exemption.
2. One fifth of all revenue to go into a fund to pay for the upbringing of all fatherless children bred by NFL players. The fund would be called the NNFL Bastard Relief Fund.
3. All wife beaters are permanently banned from the NNFL.
4. All hair outside the helmet to be cut to a boot camp haircut at the fifty yard line 5 minutes before kickoff of each game.
5. Any and all disrespect of the American Flag or the National Anthem or the US Military by a player will result in a lifetime ban from playing or attending any game.
6. Any player or coach convicted of a felony to be permanently banned from the NNFL.
7. Roger Goodell and his entire executive staff to be permanently banned from the NNFL and deported.
8. Any judge issuing an injunction against any of the foregoing will be fired and deported.
9. Any use by a player of any illegal drug will result in his permanent ban from the game.
It is to be noted that tens of millions of former fans would no doubt be back in the stands if the foregoing was implemented.
