Sun–Earth L2 halo orbit. Its main camera is the Wide Field Instrument. Riding alongside it is a second, smaller instrument whose entire purpose is high-contrast imaging: the Coronagraph Instrument (CGI), sometimes nicknamed “Starglasses.”
